Jane Kriss has over 30 years of experience in the visual arts, with a career spanning graphic design, fabric design, fine art, illustration and teaching. She has taught computer graphics to fabric designers and is currently an Instructor in the Stanford Continuing Studies Program. A History of Art major and Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome (2010 and 2012), her work has been influenced by European experiences since her family's sabbatical at age 8. Jane lives in Sausalito, California, with her husband Mark.
