This practice group begins on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, 6:30PM - 8:00PM Pacific Time, and runs for 6 weeks at the same time each week. It is only open to those who have previously completed a course with Jane. Google Classroom would be the online platform (much more user-friendly than Canvas). Sessions will not be recorded.

"Drawing Connections" is a small, discussion-based seminar structured around assignments designed to expand our skill sets and build on the self-confidence I've seen develop over the course of Sketchbook Strategies. We will define our individual goals (in terms of what kind of drawing we aspire to), create paths for reaching them, experiment with more techniques, continue to work with the Idea Deck, and generally have fun talking about art. An important aspect of the discussions will be learning to clarify why we like certain drawings and how we can integrate those characteristics into our own unique work.

I hope to be able to offer individual guidance based on the two-way communication that's possible in this small format.
